F*ck Writing! embodied composition
Do you wish poetry and literature (including yours!) wouldn’t leave out “the good parts”? Would you like to strengthen your erotic imagination? This is your class, Beloveds. We’ll use embodied, imaginal, and literary techniques to stretch... our capacity. Come and claim more presence and pleasure in your text, your body (also a text), and even and especially your sex.
Listen To Your Skin open mic
Bring your real and your raw, your scrawled-in journal pages, first few lines, or otherwise recent, unfinished drafts. We’ll do a generative writing exercise to start, then some open mic, and finally, we’ll casually and collaboratively workshop to excavate and develop what our work really wants to be.
September Reading
Check back here for the awesome reading we’re planning for September!
July reading ft. Collin Kelley + Wren Valentino
This month, our theme is fanfic. While celebrity culture is deeply flawed, iconicism is real, rooted in our desire for shared ritual, myth, legend or role models.
